The Irvington Varsity Boys Basketball team played at home against Dobbs Ferry on February 7. The final score of the game was 60-45 with the Bulldogs pulling out the win against their rivals. After this game, the boys now have a record of 11-7.
In the first quarter the Bulldogs were playing catch up and were just barely neck and neck with the Eagles. At half time the Bulldogs were up 24-21.
Throughout the game, stand out players included sophomore Jonny Guerrero, and juniors Marcus Canton and Taoig Cypher. Canton scored four consecutive times in the fourth quarter which ultimately locked in the win for the bulldogs.
Senior James Oley played a great game under the hoop, and Cypher scored a collective 14 points for the Bulldogs.
