Varsity Girls Tennis
For Irvington girls tennis, No. 2 singles seed, Chloe Harcsar had a great regional appearance by winning her first match 8-2 but losing a tough one in the finals.
Charlotte Calick and Clio Salles Spar won their first and second matches, match 8-2 and 8-6 respectively, however ended up losing a heart breaker in the finals to Bronxville. All in all, an incredible performance by the girls tennis team!
Varsity Girls Field Hockey
Being the No. 3 seed, the girls started their regional run very strong with a 1-0, double overtime win vs Valhalla. Freshman Anders Knapp scored for the Bulldogs with an impressive assist from Junior Hannah Tuckett.
The following day Irvington dropped 4-0 to the previous state champions, Bronxville. Although an unfortunate loss, the girls made an incredible run into regionals that no one saw coming.
