If you know me, you know I love coffee. But whatever you’re in the mood for — tea, coffee, chai — I’ve got you covered.
If you want to feel like you’re in Italy, and feel like you’re a part of a once in a lifetime comedy show, Cafe Latte is your place! The coffeehouse is located on Cedar Street in Dobbs Ferry. The owner, Basilio is from Rome. There, you can feast on fresh made sandwiches and salads, pastries and desserts, but most importantly, coffee!
My personal favorite is the Iced Cappuccino. It is made by blending ice, sugar, and espresso. This makes a foam on the top of the drink without heating it up. Then milk is added on top, followed by cinnamon, and served with a biscotti. This place is a 10/10. Every. Single. Time. 10/10 for ambiance, 10/10 for the service, and 10/10 for the food. Hymo approved.
Coffee Labs is the best place to go if you want to try a drink that you’ve never heard of or just want a simple classic. One of their newest items is the Nitro Iced Tea. You may have heard of Nitro Cold Brew (side note: Coffee Labs started Nitro Cold Brew way before Starbucks).
A “Nitro” drink is infused with nitrogen gas, making the drink foamy on top. Coffee Labs has picked a especially curated blend of tea for the nitro drink. It is a passion fruit black tea with a very smooth and light finish. Leave it to Coffee Labs to surprise you in a good way.
These are my 411s for coffee and coffee-related beverages in the area, and if you are ever near any of these places, go and check them out!
