James Webb Telescope

By Wyatt McInerney

The James Webb telescope was designed specifically to look into deep space and see the earliest galaxies and stars that were ever formed in the universe. The James Webb telescope is basically a space-based observatory which will be able to expand on the discoveries made by the Hubble telescope. The new and better technology it carries will allow scientists to explore so much more of the universe and solve age-old mysteries.

The Webb telescope was launched on December 25th, 2021. The mission is predicted to last for even longer than ten years. As of late there have been pretty significant findings as it gets deeper and deeper into space.

The Webb telescope has already discovered so much in less than a year. From possible new energy sources, entirely new galaxies, and new facts about near galaxies, this telescope has been hard at work bringing exciting new information about deep space back to Earth.
