Irv Forecast: Comfortable Tuesday and Wednesday, Rainy Thursday and Friday

By Josh Chang

This Memorial Day weekend was rainy and cold. In fact, we picked up almost a month’s worth of rain in less than three days. Tuesday and Wednesday will be a respite from those awful conditions, with highs in the 70s and sunny or partly cloudy skies for the most part. Unfortunately, Thursday will bring rain once again, probably a lot of it, which could continue into Friday.

Tuesday

Tuesday will be comfortable as high pressure builds across the region. High temp in the mid-70s and mostly sunny skies.

Tuesday night low in the mid-50s.

Wednesday

Wednesday will also feature solid weather, although likely a bit cloudier than Tuesday. Expect a high in the mid-70s. A shower or two is possible in the afternoon.

Temps will go down to the upper 50s overnight.

Thursday

Rain on and off most of the day Thursday, heavy at times. This is due to a large, messy low pressure system that will meander over the eastern U.S. for a day or two. High temp around 70.

Warm front comes through overnight. Low temp in the mid-60s.

Friday & Next Weekend

Friday will probably be the warmest day of the week, with a high temp in the mid- to upper 70s expected. Lingering showers or thunderstorms possible in the afternoon or evening.

Temps will build into the weekend. Expect high temps in the upper 70s or 80s. There is a possibility of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon Saturday or Sunday, but not exceedingly likely.
