Project SUCCESS, also more formally known as the Student Assistance Program, is looking to kick off this year as productively as possible given the circumstances we’re in. Run by Ms. Gamar, the Student Assistance Program is anchored around supporting students at IHS dealing with any personal issues spanning from difficult family problems to relationship stress to even substance abuse.
Project SUCCESS allows all IHS students the ability to communicate and to seek help for issues that may not visible to their school community. No matter the extremity of the problem, all meetings will always be kept confidential, unless written consent is given from the student to share with a faculty staff, family member, etc.
Due to our COVID-19 guidelines this year, Ms. Gamar is offering both in person and virtual meetings, so no matter what your health status or in-person availability is, the Student Assistance Program will always be available to you.
Ms. Gamer’s room is on the second floor of the main high school building in room 220 for in-person meetings. As far as online appointments go, students can simply send Ms. Gamar an email and she will handle the rest.
This program is an amazing support outlet for any student here at IHS in need of some professional advice or assistance, so don’t hesitate to take advantage in order to help yourself inside and outside of the classroom.
