Just How the Cookie Crumbles

by George Miles

If you’ve heard of Crumbl Cookies, you’ll know that it’s very popular amongst young people. Finding myself craving a snack, I decided to visit Crumbl and give it a proper IrvEats review.

These cookies are known for their unique flavors that are constantly rotating. Every Sunday night, completely new flavors for the upcoming week are posted online. Each new batch is baked to perfection, and delicious in their own way. You could order anywhere from milk chocolate chip, to brownie batter, or even classic pink sugar. Not only are these cookies delicious, but they come in big sizes, so no one leaves with space for another.

Now let’s dive into my experience with Crumbl cookies, from the local branch located in White Plains. I ordered a batch of four, Milk chocolate chip, lemon cake, chocolate crumb Oreo feature, and classic peanut butter.

The process of ordering was very smooth. Using the iPads located in the front of the store you can select and order the cookies. Once you’re done, the cookies are placed into pink boxes and your name is called.

After a thorough review of each cookie, I would recommend the lemon cake for various reasons. The lemon cake is packed in a spongy and lemon sponge type base and top. In between each layer is whipped cream with a hint of lemon.

My second choice would have to be the Oreo-featured cookie. The base is a rich chocolate, topped with swirls of Oreo cream, sprinkled with actual Oreo crumbs.

The only problem with Crumbl cookies is the high calorie count. Each cookie has at least 500 calories plus which can be a problem to those who might be in search of a lighter dessert.

In lieu of this, they came up with a great solution. You can order small sizes of cookies that have less calories. This allows for those without as much of an appetite to be able to experience Crumbl without the size.

Overall, Crumbl cookies has become a beloved destination for cookie enthusiasts. It’s known for its high quality and well crafted cookies and its rotating menu. My friend Ollie, who came with me said, ¨No wonder this bakery has captured the hearts of so many. Whether you’re a local to Crumbl Cookies or  passing by, Crumbl Cookies is a must-visit for those with a sweet tooth.”

If you ever find yourself on Central Avenue, make sure to stop by Crumbl Cookies!
