Last week, members of the Irvington School district received an update from Dr. Harrison concerning the Irvington UFSD capital project. In his email, it was learned that the construction of the Campus Learning Pavilion by the Meszaros Field has plans to begin.
The new building by the field will include storage space for athletic equipment, a new treatment room for the athletic trainer, a concession stand, public restrooms, and an outdoor, roof-top classroom.
In the near future, contractors will be present at the MS/HS Campuses, and in addition, the areas that are under construction will be closed to the public and students for safety reasons.
Starting in June, more construction will begin in the campus enclosures, as well as other construction projects occurring at the Middle School and the Science Buildings, all a part of the capital projects.
For more information about the timeline of these projects, Harrison provided the link.
