The color of the leaves are changing, and the temperature is dropping; fall is here. With fall arriving, the Starbucks fall menu is out and ready for customers. Every year the company releases seasonal drinks and food items. There are summer refreshers, fall latte’s, and winter-inspired items to cater to all seasons. This fall, the Starbucks menu got bigger and better than ever with the company debuting two new items, a drink and a food item.
The fall menu was rolled out on August 26th, but is starting to gain more popularity now with it actually feeling like fall. The returning classics are back, with a variety of pumpkin flavored coffees and lattes. Also returning is the nationwide favorite racoon cake pop, which is a standard cake pop that looks like a racoon. Other items include the pecan crunch oatmilk latte and the pumpkin cream cheese muffin. Additionally, this year there are two new items. The new drink is the pecan oatmilk cortado which is three ristretto (strong and concentrated) shots of blonde espresso and steamed milk. This combination offers a strong flavor and a smooth texture. The second new addition are the Italian sausage egg bites. This adds a much needed savory option to the sweet-centered menu.
My personal favorite is the pumpkin creme cold brew. It is the perfect blend of coffee and sweetness. I also liked the racoon cake pop which is just a vanilla cake pop that looks like a racoon. When I went at 6:30pm, they were out of almost all pastries so clearly, the menu is well liked and popular amongst Westchester Starbucks customers.
When asked if he was going to try something from the menu, Freshman Cameron Weiner said, “No.” he wasn’t interested. Freshman Krish Jain also said “Nah.” I guess the starbucks fall menu isn’t popular in our IHS community!
Overall, Starbucks continues to provide additions to its menu with its seasonal favorites and exciting new additions. Whether you are a longtime fan of Starbucks, or just looking for a delicious drink or treat to try, Starbucks has something for everyone this fall.
