Irvington High School students have launched Project Get Some Plants, a fundraiser aimed at bringing greenery to the school while offering students a chance to see their teachers, and even the principal, get pied in the face. The event is part of a creative effort to raise money for plants that will enhance the campus environment.
The fundraiser works through a tiered donation system, with each milestone representing a different participant stepping up for a pie. The list includes:
$25: Carson Hein
$50: Noah Strow
$100: Ms. Cutignola
$150: Mr. O’Sullivan
$200: Mr. Mosenthal
$250: Mr. Groven
$300: Mr. Whitehead
$375: Vice Principal Rust
$450: Principal Hirsh
Students, staff, and community members can donate via Venmo, with a QR code displayed on posters around the school. The highest donors will have the unique privilege of pieing the participants during the event.
The fundraiser runs from November 25th to November 27th, with the final pieing event date to be announced soon after. Proceeds will go directly toward beautifying the school with greenery, making the campus more welcoming and eco-friendly.
This initiative not only helps improve the school environment but also builds excitement among students and staff. Whether your motivation is supporting the greenery or simply the joy of seeing Principal Hirsch or another staff member take a pie, Project Get Some Plants offers something for everyone.
Get involved, Irvington High School! Donate today, and let’s make the school greener.
