IHS Softball Player Reaches Milestone

Irvington High School’s Varsity Girls Softball team has a new milestone to celebrate. Sophomore pitcher Nia Kilbury marked her 100th career strikeout this past Friday, April 12, during a thrilling game versus Briarcliff that showcased her exceptional talent on the mound.

Kilbury’s achievement is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and skill as a softball player. Her ability to consistently deliver strikeouts has made her a key asset to the team and has contributed significantly to their success this season.

Kilbury’s accomplishments don’t stop there. She has also earned a spot on the 2024 LoHud Softball watchlist, recognizing her as one of the standout players to watch out for in the area. This recognition is well-deserved and further highlights Kilbury’s potential and promise as a softball player.
