Fall is coming to an end and winter is approaching, which means it’s time for winter sports.
Wasting no time, coaches have already started practices and players have begun getting ready for their seasons.
So far, the girls basketball team has had several practices, and players are preparing for The Warnock Basketball Tournament coming up. Their first game in the tournament is against Valhalla, and junior Aly Raimondo is confident the team will win saying “in the past we’ve beat them, and I think we have a good chance this year.”
If the girls win against Valhalla, their next game will be against Ardsley. Though games against Ardsley have been tough in the past for the Bulldogs, this year’s girls basketball team looks stronger than ever and players are optimistic, for both the tournament and the season.
