Olivia Liu and the members of the Asian-American club have created a week-long celebration in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month during periods 5-7 this week.
On Monday there was a trivia contest in the atrium to test students’ knowledge for candy prizes (Hi-Chews!). Tuesday, club members gave origami lessons, and on Wednesday the club streamed a movie in the Student Academic Commons. The celebration culminates on Thursday in the atrium with a variety of foods representing Asian and Pacific Islander culture.
