The 2022-23 Irvington High School valedictorian and salutatorian have been announced. Congratulations to Ryan Liu for receiving valedictorian honors and Olivia Yin for receiving salutatorian.
This is a tremendous accomplishment for both students. With Yin on her way to Princeton and Ryan being a science research award winner, it is clear that both of them have shown incredible academic discipline throughout their four years here at Irvington.
Yin had this to say: “I am honored to have this achievement, and I am so grateful”. Yin said she was shocked when she received the honor.
“The school did not tell us anything about the scores or the class ranks, so it was kind of a surprise.”
Liu said, “This school has given me an appreciation of putting yourself out there to discover and have fun. When I stepped outside my own comfort zone, I found tons of amazing activities, events, and competitions that left me eager to explore more in college and beyond.”
Both students are incredibly accomplished and have bright futures ahead.
