Students’ Thoughts After Midterms

by: Marcus Canton

With the wrap-up of midterms week, students weighed in on every aspect of them. Overall, the first midterms for most grades had very mixed results. Most found the midterms to be somewhat stressful, but very doable.

The stress factor was consistent with most students who were worried that the midterm was worth 10% of the year’s grade. Although with all the studying, the tests weren’t horrible. Most students found their teachers’ in-class reviews very helpful; especially all the different games and activities that were incorporated into the review sessions. However, even with a couple of days of review, some students would have loved another day or two for further clarification.

Throughout the school, most students weren’t surprised with their grades. Things went surprisingly well for those who spent their time wisely studying. Overall, those who put in the time and effort to study got their well-deserved grade.
