Two local residents were elected to the Irvington Board of Education in a much tighter race. David Graeber was one of the winners. He has been on the board since 2015 and has a background as an education administrator. Mr. Graeber has also served as a Senior Common Core Fellow helping to implement new educational standards.
Alongside David Graeber, Andrea Flynn was also elected as a board member yesterday. While she has been doing work for the Irvington schools for a number of years, this will be her first time on the board of education. Andrea Flynn received the most votes out of any of the candidates.
