Architectural Modeling has added a new component to its curriculum this year with the addition of woodworking.
The teacher of the class, Ms. Clancy, confirmed that woodworking would be a part of the 2021-2022 Architectural Modeling class and will continue to be a unit in future years of the class. It will be a hands-on part of the course and will resemble some parts of Greenhouse Architecture in the middle school but differ from civil engineering, another engineering class offered at the Irvington High School.
Taking Architectural Modeling requires prerequisites in either Drawing and Design or Intro to Engineering. If you are interested in making physical models using your own two hands, Architectural Engineering and its addition of woodworking will suit you well.
