The entertainment industry has struggled tremendously since everything shutdown in March of 2020. But with COVID-19 vaccinations in full swing, we could be seeing live music sooner than expected.
Various bands, including Chicago and Earth, Wind, and Fire, will be performing at outdoor venues this summer. Effective April 2, New York’s outdoor venues will be able to reopen at 33 percent capacity with a maximum of 200 attendees, or 500 with COVID-19 tests administered to all.
According to The Paw Print’s own Anton Dedvukaj, “I think live music will be like school where concerts will come back slowly with lots of regulations and then eventually make their way back into their original form. In fact, I’d say we may have already started this process.”
Although we may not see venues go back to normal, we will definitely get to see some normalcy coming this summer.
