After 19 years, Irvington will be saying goodbye to its athletic director Arthur “Artie” McCormack, who will be leaving in June to assume the athletic director position for Pearl River School District in Rockland County.
Superintendent Kristopher Harrison sent out an email regarding his departure.
“Throughout his career, his commitment to our schools has been apparent in his work to support the growth of our students both in the classroom and through athletic competitions. His leadership and Bulldog spirit has had a profound effect on our students and community.”
Irvington has posted the position and will start the process of selecting a new athletic director soon.
