On Friday December 14th, the MS/HS experienced a partial power loss from around 1:50 to 2:40. The partial power loss affected classrooms in both the Middle School and High School.
An announcement as made that the cause of the power loss was due to a transformer issue somewhere in the power grid of the Village of Irvington.
At 2:30 p.m., students were instructed to be in a “hold in place” while the power was reset, and once power had been restored and light issues had been fixed, students were released to 9th period.
All after school activities continued as normal after the power issues had been fixed.
