For a while, the IHS yearbook has been selecting senior superlatives from Class Clown to Most Presidential. The Paw Print sought out a few former winners to see if the superlatives anticipated any real futures for these graduates.
Hillary Steinberg (class of 2010) was named “Dare To Be Different.” Currently, she is in a PhD program at the University of Colo. (Boulder) studying sociology. She teaches on a college level and researches juvenile medical conditions.
“The plan is to be a college professor, to teach and continue research in my area,” said Hillary.
Scott Long (class of 2010) received “Presidential Potential.” He is also currently a PhD candidate in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Pennsylvania. He researches medieval and early modern Spanish literature and culture, both in Spain and in Latin America.
Scott said, “In the future, I would like to teach at the college level and spend more time traveling to places which i study.”
Nora Nikprelevic, graduate of 2010 got “Fashion Freak.” She is now working at Mount Sinai in the geriatrics department.
“In the future I would like to be a geneticist specializing in developmental genetics or become a genetic counselor,” she said.
