Parents Join Forces to Take on College Process

This Thursday, March 30 at 7:00 in the CPR Esther Samra and Allison Gilbert will be heading a panel for parents of high schoolers going into the college process. The panel will consist of four parents of graduating seniors and two seniors, myself included.

The college admissions climate is changing, and it is important to get the most up-to-date information and feedback possible. The parent to parent program is a unique opportunity to get a local perspective on what works and what doesn’t. For people taking the college process seriously (which one can assume to be most Irvington families) Parent to Parent is going to be an invaluable experience which can weave through the facts and BS with total unbiased honesty.

So juniors and sophomores, tell your parents. Trust me, when college season comes around and you’re caught up in the tornado of applications and testing, you’ll be thankful you stopped by the CPR for a little to set yourself straight.
