Boys soccer was ranked as the No. 9 seed and versed the No. 8 seed, Croton Harmon at Spencer Field at 3 pm on Oct. 20. The team unfortunately lost 3-0, bringing their season to an end. The Bulldogs finished their regular season with a record of 8-7-1.
Girls soccer was ranked as the No. 2 seed of the Section 1 Class B Playoffs. The Lady Bulldogs advanced to the Semifinals against No. 3 Albertus Magnus. Last year, the team played Albertus Magnus in the Sectional Final game in a heartbreaking lost 1-0. This year, the team lost sadly 3-0 against Albertus on our home turf. The Lady Bulldogs finished their season with an impeccable record of 15-3-1.
The varsity volleyball team advanced to the Sectional Quarterfinals as the No. 6 seed. The team versed No. 3 Ardsley at Ardsley on Nov. 1. The Lady Bulldogs lost 3-0 in a score of 25-15, 25-20, and 25-20. The team finished their season with a record of 10-6.
Girls swimming have had an amazing season so far. The team came in 1st place at Divisionals competing against schools from different divisions. Junior Maddy Gallagher will represent Irvington with SHEDI at Sectionals. The team commenced their regular season undefeated.
