Clarification: In the article by Jon Goldreich entitled “Brain Drain” in the Paw Print magazine, senior Will Shefelmen felt his position concerning Physics and BC Calculus was misrepresented.
“The challenges of both honors Physics and BC calc make the classes worthwhile. Both Ms. Dunne and Mr. Serrano follow Benjamin Franklin’s quote ‘Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.’ In their classes they try to guide us to derive information from things we learned before. In each class, using experimentation instead of conventional powerpoint lessons can make the classes challenging at times but always makes the class rewarding.”
